The 100 Yard Club is a newly formed Field Archery club and we are a sister club to Anchor Bowmen Target Archery Club www.anchorbowmenofscunthorpe.co.uk We are based at the Paint Ball Centre at Barnetby Top. | 8th Feb 2010. It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Richard (Dick) Woodhouse passed away yesterday losing his battle against cancer. Richard had been a field archer for many years and joined us when we started at Elsham and was an active member helping out with his experience when we held our first shoots. He will be sadly missed and I am sure all our sympathies go to Joyce and their family. In the tradition of the 100 Yard Club we would like you to all raise your glasses to a fine archer and above all else a gentleman. He will be greatly missed. PLEASE NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control this weeks Wed session has been moved to Thursday (the same next week). So thats the 3rd & 10th Feb has moved to the 4th & 11th. THE AGM WILL BE HELD AT THE ROYAL HOTEL ON THE 17TH FEBRUARY 2010 AT 7.30. Our winter location is at the Royal Hotel, every Wednesday evening from 6.30 until 9pm. The entrance is at the side of the building under the canopy. We will still have Saturday afternoons at the Paintball site off Elsham top. ********************************************************************** Its good to report that we are getting more and more newcomers. We can always accomodate more so if you fancy a try give us a call and come and join us. As many of our members are aware Steve Watts our President of the 2 clubs has been unwell and had a short stay in hospital. We are glad to say that he is now home and Sam is keeping a watchful eye on him to make sure he takes it easy.
